Cake it on!

The past few weeks have turned into something of a ‘cake fest’ for me – and an opportunity to wear some new dresses, of course.

The first occasion was a Christmas high tea for local followers of one of my favourite dress brands; the second a little ‘high-tea-at-home’ (that I enjoyed catering) for a few close friends in advance of my birthday, and the third another – fancier – afternoon tea at a posh local establishment with my husband to celebrate the day proper.

As I enjoyed my sandwiches and scones and cakes, it was lovely to imagine all my main characters in Addressed doing the same.
