Pictures Tell Thousands of Words

I’m an author. My words are supposed to tell the story.

But in this case, I’m going to show restraint and let the pictures do it – photos of the official
celebratory launch of my second book The Runaways in Hobart on Saturday, 12 October 2024.

I first heard the voices of my characters in The Runaways call to me five years ago – even before my first book Addressed was published – so it’s been a fair old journey until they’ve been able to ‘run’ out into the world.

My launch was the culmination of that journey.

‘Becky’, ‘Crystal’, ‘Erin’, ‘Margaux’, ‘Arabella’ and ‘Sonia’ are on their own now, so a huge thank you to everyone who came along to help me give them such a wonderful send off. It was a joyous occasion.
