Mountain High
It is never any hardship to retreat to my study to write; not only because I obviously love to, but because these are the sorts of spectacular views my eyes get to feast upon …
I think of them as my personal ‘mountain high’.
We live at 500 metres elevation, on 11 hectares in the bush, and from the expansive windows of my gorgeous, north-facing, sun-drenched study I get to gaze daily upon the ‘Organ Pipes’ of Mt Wellington (Kunanyi) and the sun’s rays creeping through our huge, ancient eucalypts.
To take the ever-changing beauty of our mountain home for granted would be a travesty of the highest order. It is, however, as you can see, especially stunning this early autumn. #writinginspiration #whereiwrite #annierobsonauthor #feelgoodfiction #uplit
