In the Pink was a Fair Thing

Last Saturday, I took part in the second Tassie Indie Book Fair in Hobart.

Rejuvenated this year – after going into abeyance in 2020 due to COVID – the fair brought together independent authors, booksellers and editors spanning almost all genres.

The venue – Brooke Street Pier – was inspired, as it saw heavy foot traffic from the public catching the MONA cat upriver to the museum, as well as the crowds enroute to and from historic Salamanca Market. Both are iconic Tassie tourist destinations, of course.

I had a fantastic day! I was ‘in the pink’ (quite literally)!

Not only did I sell copies of Addressed, but also had the opportunity to chat about my writing with interested members of the public, and I got to meet some delightful, like-minded fellow authors.

Certainly, my little table attracted lots of similar lovers of pink!
